Click-Through-Rate (CTR)

Click-Through Rate or CTR is an advertising metric that measures the number of clicks your link or ad receives by the number of times it appeared on screen (impressions).

The formula to calculate the CTR is as follows –

CTR = (Total clicks/Total impressions)  x 100

A high click-through-rate indicates the efficiency of your ad copy, organic search results, placement of links, etc., whereas a low CTR indicates that you need to alter your marketing strategy.

To increase the CTR rates, make sure your ad copy is highly compelling, has precise audience targeting, is optimized for mobile devices, and delivers a powerful, actionable text which triggers your customers to perform the desired action.
